Welcome to our 2011-2012 Season
Serving our community since 1970, the
Valley East Skating Club, utilizing only certified Skate Canada coaches and
instructors, has been instrumental in the development of the skating skills of
the thousands of children who have enrolled in our programs. Some have simply
learned to become competent recreational skaters, some have advanced to higher
levels of hockey and ringette, and others have advanced to the highest levels of
figure skating with several achieving their goals of becoming coaches or
performers at the professional level.
A fast paced, demanding and very popular Power Skating Program targeted
specifically at hockey and ringette players has been added to our list of
offerings in recent years.

Success in our ranks
!
Two of our Coaches, Club Coach Cecilia Bouzanne and
free lance Coach Danielle Coulombe had an awesome past
weekend! Danielle placed third and Cecilia place fourth
at Sectionals for Skate Canada Northern Ontario in
Huntsville skating in the Novice group. They both
qualified to compete at “Skate Canada Challenge”
in Regina, Saskatchewan on November 30th to
December 5th. They will be competing against
the top 52 Novice skaters across Canada (from each
section in the country). The top 16 skaters of each
division move on to Nationals. Congratulations to them
and good luck!! |
